University of Connecticut President Thomas Katsouleas has submitted his resignation, effective as of next month. Katsouleas, who was selected as president of UConn in February 2019, notified the school’s Board of Trustees that he will resign as president at the end of his current contract, which concludes as of Wednesday, June 30. A student at the University of Connecticut has been charged with a hate crime after allegedly painting a swastika on a building on the Storrs campus at the beginning of Passover, police said.
