CT Firefighters Rescue Dog From Burning Home Firefighters in Hartford County rescued a dog from a burning home on Tuesday, Jan. 14, saving the pooch before flames consumed the property. Crews were called to a home at 69 Fleming Road in Manchester just before 2:30 p.m. They arrived to find smoke billowing from the roofline. The family escaped mostly unharmed.
