TikTok Access Restored In United States
Americans regained access to TikTok after a 14-hour ban left the popular app unavailable. As of Sunday, Jan. 19, it remained unclear why the app was once again operational in the United States. The Supreme Court had previously upheld a ruling to enforce the ban, citing national security concerns linked to TikTok’s Chinese-owned parent company, ByteDance. President Trump reportedly said he planned on issuing an executive order giving ByteDance more time to sell the video-sharing platform.

CT Man Arrested For Making Threats To Lamont, State Police Say
A Connecticut man is facing charges for allegedly making online threats against Gov. Ned Lamont after receiving misinformation about COVID-19 in nursing homes, State Police announced. New London County resident Jonathan Wright, age 41, of Waterford, was arrested on a warrant on Monday, Nov. 15 after making threats on social media toward the governor in late October. Police said that Wright made multiple threatening Twitter posts in October that were directed toward Lamont. Fighter Jets Fire Flares At Plane In No-Fly Zone During Trump's NJ Visit
DEVELOPING: Fighter jets were spotted over Bedminster during President Trump's visit Saturday. The jets were reportedly following a private plane that had entered a no-fly zone near Somerset Airport around 12:30 p.m. Witnesses in the Somerville area reported seeing the fighter jets fire off three flares.
