Voters Nationally Prefer Harris Over Trump, New Poll Finds
Voters nationally prefer Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris over her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, a brand-new survey by Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey shows. The seven-point margin (50 to 43) is largely due to race and gender, the FDU poll shows. The survey was conducted between Saturday, Aug. 17 and Tuesday, Aug. 20, using a voter list of registered voters nationwide carried out by Braun Research of Princeton, New Jersey. While the country has started coming out on the other side of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, a large amount of Americans still don’t believe schools will be safe to reopen come the fall, according to a new poll. A newly released Quinnipiac University poll found that approximately half of 1,323 voters polled nationally between Thursday, May 14, and Monday, May 18 felt that way.
