Fairfield County Drug Dealer Busted For Selling Fentanyl, Police Say
A Fairfield County man was busted for allegedly selling fentanyl throughout the county following a four-month investigation.
Edson Casseus, age 36, of Bridgeport, was busted on Friday, Jan. 21, at the SONO Collection mall by the Stamford Police Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit, Captain Richard Conklin of the Stamford Police said.
Casseus was arrested after agents were able to secure an arrest warrant charging him with three counts of sale of narcotics, Conklin said.
During the takedown, officers located 3.9grams of crack cocaine, 14 illegal pills, and $3,936 in cash.

Woman Sentenced To 50 Years For Hiring Cousin To Murder Ex-Husband In Fairfield County
A Fairfield County woman convicted of soliciting two men to fatally gun down her ex-husband has been sentenced to 50 years in prison.
Larise King, age 36, of Bridgeport, was convicted in May of hiring her cousin and his friend to kill her ex-husband, Dathan "Dae Dae" Gray, was sentenced by Superior Court Judge Tracy Lee Dayton, on Wednesday, June 30.
King, who drove the getaway car during the 2019 murder, is not eligible for parole, the judge ruled.

Suspect Nabbed After Man Found Shot, Killed Near Intersection In CT
A 23-year-old Connecticut man has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of another man on a street corner.
The homicide of 23-year-old Gregory Rafael Santos-Frias of Waterbury was discovered around 11:39 p.m., Saturday, May 1, when the Waterbury Police Department responded to the area of East Main Street at Wall Street to investigate a shooting, said Sgt. Robert Davis

A Connecticut man wanted for parole jumping was found with an assault rifle and semi-automatic pistol when nabbed in an area hotel.
Tijun Mims, age 26, of Hamden, was arrested on Thursday, Feb. 18, for an incident that took place at the Red Roof Inn in Milford on Thursday, Feb. 4, said the Milford Police.
While being arrested on Feb. 4 for the Department of Corrections for being a parole jumper, Mims was found to be in possession of an assault rifle, a semi-automatic pistol, and four high-capacity magazines, police said.
