CT Resident Robbed At Gunpoint During Meeting For Online Sale, Police Say
A Connecticut man was robbed at gunpoint during an alleged armed robbery in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant. The incident took place in Middlesex County around 4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 in Middletown. When officers arrived on the scene, they confirmed two people were meeting to buy items that were listed for sale online, said the Middletown Police. Police are warning residents of a strong-arm robbery following the arrest of a juvenile for stealing an iPhone after setting up the purchase of the phone online in Fairfield County. The incident took place on Saturday, Feb. 13, when the Monroe Police received the report of a strong-arm robbery at a residence on Castlewood Drive in Monroe, police said.
