18-Year-Old Found Shot Dead Inside Apartment In Bridgeport Police in Fairfield County are investigating following the shooting death of an 18-year-old man found inside an apartment. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 7 in the 300 block of Olive Street. Bridgeport Police responded to the area on a report of a person shot, said Capt. Kevin Gilleran of the Bridgeport Police. Officers found the teen on the floor inside a first-floor apartment of a multi-family home. Two Injured After Vehicle Crashes Into Fairfield County Building, Police Say Two drivers in Fairfield County were taken to the hospital after a multi-car crash in which one of the vehicles crashed into a building. The crash took place around 8 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6, when police were patrolling in Bridgeport in the area of Park Avenue and Olive Street when they came upon a multiple vehicle crash with one of the vehicles into a building in the 1300 block of Park Avenue.
