Video: Missing Dog That Turned Herself In To CT Police Reunited With Owner
A missing dog has been reunited with its owner after turning itself in to police on Tuesday, Feb. 4, after a week on the run. Comet, the golden retriever, showed up at the Waterford Police Department Tuesday morning with a few injuries after her brief week on the run. Police officers and employees lavished it with attention until the owners showed up to collect their wayward best friend. Welcome home, girl. A donkey that has now been missing for a week in Connecticut may have been stolen, according to the animal law advocate group offering a reward to anyone who can help locate it. Jackie the donkey was originally reported missing from Hickory Lane in the Litchfield County town of Bethlehem on Thursday, Jan. 11, according to Bethlehem Animal Control. Truck With Dog Inside Stolen; Police Seek Public's Help Finding Pup, Vehicle
In just a few moments a man lost his truck and his dog Monday, Sept. 7, in Hartford. Hartford Police said a silver pickup truck was stolen from Bushnell Street was stolen from the owner when he stepped away from the vehicle for a moment. With the keys in the car, someone hopped in and took off, police said. But inside the car was the owner’s 11-year-old Pom/Alaskan Eskimo mix dog. There are vanity plates on the car “MONGO3.” Police are seeking the public’s help in locating the dog and the truck. If anyone has any information they are asked to call 911.
