CT Police Lt Remembered For Dedication To Community: Army Vet Was 'Amazing Human Being' A Connecticut community is mourning the loss of a dedicated police officer who spent his life working to improve his world and the lives of the people in it.  Plainville Police Lt. John Quilter died Saturday, Jan. 18, surrounded by his family. The department did not disclose the cause of death. The 49-year-old Bristol native married his high school sweetheart, Missy, and they had three children. Omer Neutra, from Long Island’s Plainview, was killed during the attacks that claimed the lives of another 1,200 men, women, and children, the Israeli government confirmed Monday, Dec. 2. Gabby Didn't Live That Way,' Dad Joe Petito Says At Funeral Speaking to mourners gathered to honor the life of his late 22-year-old daughter, Joseph Petito encouraged people to be inspired by the way Gabby Petito lived her life. Funeral services were held to honor the life of the Long Island resident at the Moloney's Funeral Home in Holbrook on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 26.
