A man's body that was found in a grassy area in Fairfield County and whose death is considered suspicious has been identified. The man was found in Stamford around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18 near the pathway that connects Woodland Avenue and Walter Wheeler Drive. 19-Year-Old Stabbed In Head At CT Dunkin': Suspect At Large, Police Say
A 19-year-old man was stabbed in the head, back, and neck at a Connecticut Dunkin' location by a homeless man who is now at large, police said. The incident happened in Hartford County on Monday, Oct. 16 around 8:20 p.m., when officers responded to a Dunkin' location in Manchester at 255 Middle Turnpike West for a reported stabbing. According to Manchester Police, arriving officers found that both people involved in the incident had already left the Dunkin' and that a victim had been taken to Manchester Memorial Hospital in a private vehicle. CT Woman Assaulted In Surprise Attack By Homeless Man, Police Say
A woman was allegedly seriously assaulted while taking a morning exercise walk by a homeless man. The incident took place in Hartford County around 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 6 in Windsor Locks. According to Lt. Paul Cherniack, of the Windsor Locks Police, the woman, who is in her 70s, was walking in the area of 34 Old Country Road when a man ran up behind her and "viciously struck her about the back of the head with a closed fist causing her to fall to the ground."
