Popular Discount Clothing Store's First Location In State Will Be In Fairfield County
Popular discount clothing franchise Ross Dress for Less will open its first store in the state in Fairfield County. The store, a big competitor of Marshalls, will take over the old Homegoods store in the Hawley Lane Mall in Trumbull, said Rina Bakalar, Trumbull's director of economic and community development. Bakalar said she was excited to see the retailer come to the region and to be the first in the state. HomeGoods Announces Opening Date Of Shelton Store
Pillows and more pillows and plenty of great design items will be available at the new HomeGoods store in Fairfield County in just a few weeks. Store officials confirmed on Friday, Oct. 6 the new store in Shelton will open on Thursday, Oct. 26. Arielle Abramek, a spokesperson for the company, said the HomeGoods store located at 100 Hawley Lane, in Trumbull, will relocate to 862 Bridgeport Ave., in Shelton. Company Recalls 30K Candles Sold Nationwide Because They May Burn Too Hot, Break Glass Jars
A company has recalled more than 30,000 candles that were sold across the United States because they may burn at higher-than-usual temperatures, causing the jars to break. The recall includes Good Matters three-wick candles that come in a glass tumbler with a wooden lid, officials announced on Thursday, Dec. 15. Officials said the company received four reports of incidents where the candles caught on fire and cracked or broke apart while in use.
