The annual report is published by the Alabama retailer that resells, donates, or recycles lost luggage and its contents if unclaimed for 90 days. Driver, Passenger Escape Burning Car Fire In CT People inside a car that burst into flames on New Year's Day escaped without injury, authorities said.  Firefighters were called to Sandy Lane in Brookfield around 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday to reports of a car fire. Crews said the vehicle was completely engulfed when they arrived, but the two people inside had escaped.  Firefighters quickly contained the blaze and contained a fuel leak. The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection also responded to determine whether the leak had any environmental impacts.  The cause of the blaze is under investigation.

The new policy was implemented on Wednesday, Jan. 18, the company announced.  Customers are encouraged to bring reusable bags or containers to transport their purchases, representatives said. Beautiful 'Healthy' Maple Tree Found Cut Down At Norwalk Park Police are investigating after a beautiful, healthy maple tree was found cut down in an area park. Norwalk City officials said the tree was found cut down in Mill Pond Park on Tuesday, June 30.  The tree knocked over a garbage can resulting in litter being scattered all across the park.
