Man Sexually Assaulted 8-Year-Old Girl: Police
A 56-year-old Connecticut man was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting and abusing an 8-year-old girl in Fairfield County, authorities said. Armando Cruz-Zambrano, of Norwalk, is charged with first-degree sexual assault, illegal sexual contact with a victim under 16, assault in the third degree, and interfering with an emergency call, police said. Norwalk Police said they were alerted to the alleged sexual assault on Sept. 29. An investigation is underway after a victim reported to police that a man stabbed him on I-84 in Connecticut. Officers in Hartford County responded to a report of a stabbing victim in the area of Queen Street at I-84 in Southington at about 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, according to the Southington Police Department. Man Accused Of Attacking Victim During Incident In Fairfield County, Police Say
A Fairfield County was nabbed for allegedly attacking another person during a domestic dispute. Gerard Gibney, age 72, of Darien, was arrested on Sunday, Nov. 7 on charges of interfering with an emergency call and disorderly conduct. Officers responded to a Darien residence on a report of a domestic disturbance. The victim reported that Gibney was attempting to enter the victim’s room to hurt them, Darien Police said.
