A week before the holiday shopping season officially kicks off, Amazon is set to begin laying off approximately 10,000 corporate and technology employees, The New York Times reports. Tesla is recalling nearly 54,000 vehicles installed with faulty software that could lead to certain cars and SUVs rolling through stop signs, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
