A 17-year-old boy from Monsey died after being electrocuted while trying to repair a faulty heater at a mikvah, a ritualistic Jewish bathhouse, in Upstate New York, Daily Voice has learned. As first reported by Yeshiva World News, the teen was at a camp in Kerhonkson on Aug. 20 when the incident occurred. Catskills Hatzalah paramedics found him in cardiac arrest, revived him, and rushed him to a hospital in Poughkeepsie before transferring him to Westchester Medical Center, the outlet said. Man Fatally Electrocuted Working At Yale Golf Course ID'd As 54-Year-Old Grandfather
Police have identified the man who was fatally electrocuted while working at the Yale Golf Course last month as a 54-year-old New Haven grandfather. Luís Alberto Marcatoma was working on a restoration project at the New Haven course on Aug. 21 when a downed power line electrocuted him, Yale Public Safety Chief Duane Lovello has said. Feds Cite Litchfield County Company For 48 Safety, Health Violations After Employee’s Death
A Connecticut company has been cited by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration for 48 safety violations after an employee was electrocuted and died. The incident took place in Litchfield County at PM Engineered Solutions Inc. when an employee of the metal fabrication company was electrocuted in July while repairing a portable water heater in Watertown. Teen Critically Injured After Touching Live Wire While Playing On Top Of Metro-North Train Car
A 16-year-old teen is in "extremely critical condition" after being electrocuted while playing on top of a parked train car.
