Early voting began Monday, Oct. 21 in Connecticut, and many Nutmeggers were ready to cast their ballot.
More than 56,000 people voted on Monday, or about 2.5 percent of eligible voters in the state, and turnout remained strong again on Tuesday, according to multiple reports across Connecticut.

Two men wanted for an armed robbery in one Western Massachusetts city thought they would get by with all the police attention on the election polls – they thought wrong.
Eric Fontanez, age 52, of New York, and Jesus Marrero, age 56, of Holyoke, were arrested for the robbery that happened at the South Street Racing Mart in Holyoke on Sunday, Nov. 6, Holyoke Police said on Facebook.

There will be widespread heavy rainfall, areas of flooding, strong gusty winds, a wintry mix, and accumulating snow in parts of the region as a winterlike storm moving in from the Midwest merges with the remnants of Hurricane Zeta.
The time frame for storm activity is Thursday, Oct. 29 into Friday, Oct. 30, with the snowfall expected mainly early Friday morning as the temperature drops.

Stretch Of Unsettled Weather Coming, Followed By Halloween Blue Moon, Time To Fall Back
The passage of a cold front has led to dry weather and a dramatic drop in temperatures, making it feel like fall again.
Sunday, Oct. 25 will feel like fall again. There will be a mix of clouds and sun with a slight chance of afternoon showers. The high temperature will only be around 50 degrees.
