Is romance on life support? A new survey says a growing number of Americans think so. Nearly 30 percent of adults believe real love is a thing of the past — and a majority say they’ve actively stepped back from dating or physical intimacy as a result. The average single person Connecticut, according to a survey conducted by EverydayCarry.com, would travel 2.6 hours to go on a date amid COVID-19, and half of singles polled nationwide would avoid dating someone living in an area with a high rate of COVID infections.
