Fairfield Man Charged With Attempted Murder In Stabbing Incident
A 51-year-old Fairfield County man was charged with criminal attempt to commit murder after allegedly stabbing his partner multiple times. The incident occurred in Fairfield around 11:10 a.m. on Mountain Laurel Road on Sunday, April 14. According to Sgt. Michael Stahl of the Fairfield Police, the victim, is in serious condition following the stabbing during a domestic dispute. Arrested was Robert Van Weddle of Fairfield.
