Waterbury resident Jerrell Jamison, age 30, also known as “Rell” and “Big Bro,” was sentenced to five years in prison on Friday, Feb. 24 for distributing narcotics, according to the US Attorney's Office for the District of Connecticut.

A judge sentenced a 32-year-old Springfield woman to more than seven years in jail after she pleaded guilty to taking part in a drug smuggling ring that moved crack, heroin, and cocaine from Massachusetts into Vermont, authorities said. A Connecticut man has been sentenced to 70 months in prison for distributing narcotics.
Hartford County resident McClendon Jones, age 40, of Bloomfield, was sentenced on Friday, Jan. 8, by U.S. District Judge Kari A. Dooley to the prison time, followed by four years of supervised release, said U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut John H. Durham.
