Fairfield County Man Nabbed In Convenience Store Robbery, Police Say A Fairfield County man has been arrested for an alleged robbery of a New Haven convenience store.  Shanqueto Pinnock, 19, of Stratford, was arrested on Wednesday, March 17, for his involvement in the October armed robbery of the S&A Mart at 95 Wakelee Ave. in Ansonia, said Lieutenant Patrick Lynch. According to Lynch, Pinnock was one of two men armed with a handgun who entered the store and demanded money from an employee. Several hundred in cash was taken along with merchandise, police said. Woman Nabbed For $900 CVS Pharmacy Theft In Fairfield County An area woman was nabbed for allegedly stealing more than $900 in merchandise from an area CVS Pharmacy. The incident took place at the store located at 397 Post Road East on Sunday, Sept. 13, said Lt. Anthony Prezioso. According to Prezioso, officers responded to the store around 6:06 a.m. on a theft complaint. Police Nab Man Wanted In 2018 Armed Robbery Of Delivery Driver In Ansonia A 22-year-old area man has been arrested in connection with a 2018 robbery of a delivery driver at gunpoint. Leroy Shaw, of Ansonia, was arrested on Monday, July 13, on a warrant by Ansonia Police for his alleged involvement in the crime that took place on Dec. 31, 2018, said Lt. Patrick Lynch. Shaw’s arrest is part of an ongoing investigation into the robbery, where two men robbed a delivery driver of cash and the food, Lynch said.
