19-Year-Old Killed In CT Shooting: Suspect On Loose Authorities are searching for the suspect involved in a shooting that left a 19-year-old man dead in Connecticut.  The shooting happened in New Haven on Sunday, Nov. 19 just before 8:30 p.m. in the area of Downes Street between Columbus Avenue (Route 1) and Congress Avenue, according to New Haven Police. According to the department, officers who arrived at the scene found a 19-year-old man with several gunshot wounds and secured the crime scene. Man Injured By Gunfire Walks Into Area Hospital A 31-year-old man injured by gunfire sought medical treatment at an area hospital. New Haven Police were alerted to the shooting on Monday, Dec. 21, when the victim walked into the Bridgeport Hospital, said New Haven Police. The man had been shot in the side of his torso. His injuries were non-life-threatening, the department said. The shooting happened about an hour earlier.
