Teen Shot Near CT High School
A 16-year-old student was shot near a Connecticut high school, causing the school to go on lockdown. The incident took place in Hartford County around 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, near New Britain High School. According to New Britain Police Chief Christopher Chute, the teen was shot by suspects in an early 2000s light blue or light gray Nissan Altima. One Arrested In Fatal Hit-Run Of Renowned CT Marathon Runner, Police Looking For Second Suspect
A juvenile has been arrested in connection with the hit-and-run death of a popular Connecticut man who was an avid marathon runner. Police said 53-year-old Henryk Gudelski, a much-decorated runner, was struck by a car in Hartford County in the area of Belden Street and East Street in New Britain. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Gudelski was hit by a stolen Audi out of Hartford while he was running on the sidewalk; he was hit so hard he flew across the street.
