A 22-year-old man was nabbed by US Marshals in connection with a machete attack at a Fairfield County high school. Gerald W. Valle was taken into custody in Pine Prairie, Louisianna on Friday, March 8, and extradited to Bridgeport, to face charges for a violent machete attack that occurred on Central High School property on Sunday, June 18, 2023. A 26-year-old man is in critical condition after being attacked with a machete at a high school baseball field in Fairfield County. The incident took place on Sunday, June 18 around 8:15 p.m. in Bridgeport at the John F. A former police officer and beloved musician who grew up in Fairfield County and joined many popular acts on stage is being remembered for his talented guitar playing. New Haven County resident Gary Ciuci of Milford died on Tuesday, May 2 at the age of 69, according to his obituary. After growing up in Bridgeport and graduating from Central High School, Ciuci went on to become a Westport Special Police Officer. He retired from this position before his death. A man has been charged with attempting to lure two Fairfield County students to his car, and in one case, grabbed a student and attempted to drag her to his vehicle. The incident took place in Bridgeport around 11 a.m., Thursday, April 27 at Central High School. Man Arrested In Connection With Shooting At Norwalk Housing Complex
A 23-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a person at an area housing complex. Norwalk Police responded to the shooting around 10 a.m., Thursday, June 11, after receiving a report of the incident at Roodner Court at 261 Ely Ave. Officers arrived and found one victim, who was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, said Norwalk Police Lt.
