Police in Connecticut eventually caught-up to a wanted motorist after the man’s getaway vehicle suffered a flat tire.
The incident began just after 11:30 p.m. on Friday, March 26, in New Haven, in the area of Howard Avenue and Spring Street in the Hill neighborhood, when members of the New Haven Police Department spotted a man with an active warrant for fleeing from police, said Captain Anthony Duff.

ID Released For CT Woman Hit, Killed By Box Truck Operated By Fairfield County Man
Police have released the identity of a woman killed after being hit by a vehicle.
Maria Luisa Morales, age 55, of New Haven, was struck by a box truck on Thursday, March 18, in New Haven, authorities said.
The crash happened about 5:40 p.m., Thursday, on the corner of Temple Street at Chapel Street when Morales began to cross the roadway when she was hit by a commercial delivery box truck traveling eastbound on Chapel Street, said Captain Anthony Duff of the New Haven Police Department.
