Child Found Dead In Pool Of Litchfield County Home
A boy who was found unresponsive in the pool of a Connecticut home has died. The incident occurred in Litchfield County around noon on Tuesday, Aug. 20, on Magnolia Lane in the Terryville section of Plymouth. According to Edman Austin of the Plymouth Police, police, fire, and EMS found the child unresponsive in the pool and immediately began treatment. The boy, whose age was not provided, was transported to Bristol Hospital for treatment. Connecticut State Police are investigating after a 17-year-old girl died after falling out of a moving pickup truck. The incident took place in Hartford County on Fairfield Drive in the town of Burlington on Sunday, around 1:25 a.m., Sunday, May 21. State police said the truck, a 2013 Chevy Silverado, was traveling in an unknown direction when Sophie Ringquist, of Burlington, the front seat passenger, fell out from the vehicle as it was moving. A man is suspected of shooting a fellow bar patron in the head and arm after the victim bumped into him at a bar. The altercation happened on Saturday, Oct. 3, at the Rockstar Cabaret in Wolcott, police said, when the victim bumped into the suspect, which ignited an argument. Man Pronounced Dead Shortly After Being Pulled From Lake In Litchfield County
A man was pronounced dead at an area hospital shortly after he was pulled from a lake in Litchfield County. Litchfield County Dispatched received a 911 report at around 6 p.m. Sunday, July 5 from a woman in Plymouth reporting she could no longer see a man who had been swimming in Lake Winfield in the area of Seymour Road and that she believed he was underwater. Members of the Terryville Fire Department performed a water rescue and pulled the man from the water, Plymouth Police said.
