Fairfield County Man Charged With Attack On Nypd Officer, Tossing Molotov Cocktail, Police Say
A Fairfield County man is being charged in federal court with an attack on an NYPD officer over the weekend and then tossing a Molotov cocktail.
Lionel Virgile, age 44, of Bridgeport, will face a federal just on a charge of arson on Monday, April 19, for the attack which took place in Brooklyn on Saturday, April 17, said the NYPD.
According to police, around 8 a.m., Saturday, 67 Precinct officers stopped Virgile in a gray 2000 Lincoln Town car for a traffic infraction.

Self Storage Office Destroyed With Fire And Sledgehammer; Arrest Made
A man who allegedly used a sledgehammer to break into a Self Storage facility and set it on fire has been arrested.
On Tuesday, Oct. 6, around 3:30 p.m. Waterbury police arrested Jacen Heslop, 32, of Waterbury, on the charges of first-degree arson, first-degree reckless endangerment, fired egress criminal mischief, second-degree breach of the peace, second-degree threatening, first-degree burglary, and fire degree criminal trespass, according to the Republican American.

Accused Serial Arsonist Arrested By Plainfield Police
Plainfield Police have arrested an alleged serial arsonist.
Roland Bourque III, 29, of Moosup, Connecticut, was arrested Thursday, July 23, on two counts of arson, WTNH reported.
The charges stem from two fires: June 22, 2016, on South Main Street; and Aug. 17, 2017, on Roy Street.
Bourque alleged confessed to setting the fires when he was arrested after being caught trying to set fire to an abandoned resident on May 2, WTHN reported.
Man Accused Of Starting Fires At Two CT Homes, Police Say
As firefighters responded to three house fires, police arrested a 36-year-old man for allegedly starting two of the blazes.
The call for the first fire was received around 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 17, in Litchfield County, at a two-story, cape style single-family home in Torrington, said Torrington Police Lt. Brett Johnson.
When the Torrington Fire Department arrived on the scene of the fire on Torrinford West Street, they found the residence fully engulfed in flames, as well as a Honda vehicle in the driveway, Torrington Fire Chief Peter Towey said.
