More than 3.3 million EVs are now registered across the ten states, the Northeast States for Coordinated Air Use Management said in a news release on Monday, Mar. 10. The group includes Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York. A new study by various top universities has found that air pollution killed 8.7 million people globally in 2018 - about one in five deaths.
