Unlicensed DUI Driver Arrested In I-84 Crash That Left Passenger Dead: State Police An unlicensed, intoxicated Hartford man has been charged in connection with a high-speed crash on Interstate 84 that killed his passenger, according to Connecticut State Police. The crash occurred around 6:53 a.m. on Feb. 8, 2024, near Exit 61 in Manchester, investigators said. Jason Ivers, 25, was driving a 2016 Nissan Juke westbound at a high rate of speed when his vehicle collided with a 2015 Hyundai Genesis, CT State Police said.
