Stonington police said they were called to Stonington High School around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, for reports of a weapon on campus. Norwich Free Academy was placed on lockdown Tuesday afternoon, May 27, out of an "abundance of caution" after police received a call of a potential emergency, the school said. Two Connecticut high school students were arrested after one brought an airsoft pistol to class forcing administrators to go into lockdown, authorities said.
