24-Year-Old Accused Of Pointing Fake Assault Rifle At Drivers On I-395 In Thompson, Putnam A 24-year-old has been accused of displaying a firearm and pointing it at fellow motorists in Connecticut.The incident happened Friday night, Aug. 23, in Windham County. Connecticut State Police Troop D in Danielson received multiple 911 calls reporting a red-colored sedan that was being operated aggressively. The incident began in New London County, on northbound I-395 in Griswold, when someone called 911 saying another driver had displayed a gun during a road rage incident at around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8. Electric Biker Hit By Drunk Driver In CT Still In Critical Condition, Police Say A man who allegedly hit an electric bike rider on his way home from work at Walmart has been charged with alleged DWI and assault.  The incident occurred in New Haven County on Wednesday, July 17, on Cook Avenue in Meriden. According to Sgt. Stanley Zajac of the Meriden Police, the bicyclists were riding north in the northbound lane of Cook Avenue, which is marked as a shared bicycle lane. A 2017 Dodge RAM driven by Todd Wheeler, age unknown, of Meriden, was traveling north on Cook Avenue, struck the bicycle in the rear, throwing the victim into the roadway, Zajac said. Zaj…
