Reality TV hopefuls will get their shot at island glory when the producers of the popular series “Survivor” roll into Mohegan Sun for an open casting call next month. Contestants who think they can outwit, outplay, and outlast the competition will have a chance to prove it in front of the show's producers at the Shops at Mohegan Sun on March 13 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. in The Shops Concourse at the hotel and casino. Wendy’s has started planned closures of 140 restaurants across the US. The closures are part of a strategic effort to streamline operations and focus on more profitable locations amid rising operational costs and stiff competition.
