Steven Bannon Set To Report To Danbury Prison To Serve Sentence Steve Bannon, a once trusted strategist to former President Donald Trump, is set to report to prison Monday, July 1, in Fairfield County. Bannon, a conservative podcaster, is set to begin a four-month sentence at the federal prison in Danbury for defying a congressional subpoena that was investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riots.
