More Americans are planning trips for Memorial Day weekend, with a new forecast suggesting this year could set a new benchmark for holiday travel. AAA projects more than 45 million people will travel at least 50 miles from home during the five-day holiday stretch, making it the busiest Memorial Day weekend for domestic travel since 2005.
