Manchester Teen Dies Days After Hartford Motorcycle Crash; Remembered As Kind, Resilient
A 17-year-old motorcyclist involved in a serious Hartford crash last week has died, authorities said. Elijah Santiago, 17, was injured in the crash at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Standish Street in Hartford on Tuesday, May 5, according to police. Paramedics rushed Santiago to the hospital in critical condition. Multiple Connecticut fourth-grade students were hurt in an I-84 school bus crash while on the way to a field trip, authorities said. Teen Girl Busted Threatening Area School; More Than 20 CT Schools Have Received Threats
A 13-year-old Connecticut girl was arrested Thursday morning, Sept. 19, after police say they traced a threat made against a school to her. It's just another example of an alarming trend of people — often students — making threats of violence online toward local schools.
