Friends remember the 61-year-old Connecticut man who died in a motorcycle crash as a caring soul with an unforgettable sense of humor. Timothy Pazar, 61, of Cheshire, was identified as the man who died while riding a Honda CB750C eastbound on Route 68 in Prospect around 3:15 p.m. Friday, July 4, Connecticut State Police said. The bike crashed with a Ford Fusion at the intersection of Cheshire Road and Matthew Street, throwing Pazar into a metal guardrail, troopers said. He was pronounced dead at the scene. CT Motorcyclist Killed After Hitting Deer, Struck by Oncoming Vehicle: 'Devastating Loss'
A motorcyclist was killed after he was thrown from his bike after hitting a deer, before an oncoming car ran over him, authorities said. Philip Labonte, 37, of Thomaston, was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Route 69 in Bethany Monday night, June 23, around 9:30 p.m. when he struck the deer, Connecticut State Police said. The impact threw him from the motorcycle and onto the highway. A 37-year-old Prospect man in a Subaru Impreza passed through the area a few moments later and crashed into Labonte's body. Communities across Connecticut are mourning the loss of Marc D. Carrion, a former CT National Guardsman who died on Thursday, Feb. 6 at 34 years old, leaving behind his dear wife, Kimberly. A 22-year-old man who was a star running back for a Connecticut semi-pro football team was killed after crashing his car on I-91 in Hartford County, authorities said. Davian Andrew Pallotto, of Prospect in New Haven County, died after he rolled his 2007 Cadillac CTS around 11:15 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, Connecticut State Police said. Pallotto was driving north on I-91 when he veered across a lane of traffic onto a grassy median, where the car lost control near Exit 23 and began to tumble, authorities said. Police across Connecticut are searching for a group of men who are installing card skimmers on credit card machines. Several incidents have occurred in New Haven County in the past month. In Prospect, the owners of LaBonne's Markets said that at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, two men with accents wearing Hugo Boss apparel and hats bought a few items, paid cash, and while our cashier was making change, placed a credit card skimmer on register 3 at the market's Prospect store.
