‘Grey’s Anatomy,’ The Rookie,’ 9-1-1,’ Among Five Shows Renewed by ABC
It’s good news if you’re a fan of several shows on ABC.
The network announced on Thursday, April 3, it had renewed “Grey’s Anatomy,” “The Rookie,” “9-1-1,” “Shifting Gears” and “Will Trent” for another season.
“Grey’s Anatomy,” the longest running medical drama in history, will be returning for a 22nd season. All cast members are expected to be back with Ellen Pompeo continuing as narrator and making occasional appearances as Meredith Grey, Deadline reported.

Newly released bodycam footage shows the DUI arrest of Lumberton Township Mayor Gina LaPlaca, who was nearly four times over the legal limit when she was arrested on St. Patrick's Day for driving with her toddler son in the vehicle, according to police paperwork obtained by Daily Voice.
LaPlaca, 45, was charged with DWI, child endangerment, and multiple traffic violations following the St. Patrick’s Day incident on Sunday, March 17, Lumberton police said.

“Mommy, tomorrow is going to be the most painful day of your life, and then it’s going to get better.”
That’s what Maryrose Fealey told her mother, Janet Pizzelli, on Jan. 30, 2024, the day before Pizzelli was set to begin chemotherapy for breast cancer.
“Well, she was wrong,” Pizzelli said of her daughter’s words. “It didn’t get better.”
It got worse.
That same night, Maryrose was stabbed to death by David Shroitman, who followed her home from the gym and killed her in her vehicle, prosecutors said.
