State Police Cruiser Struck In Westport, Man Charged With Failure To Move Over A 47-year-old man was charged with failure to move over after slamming into the back of a Connecticut State Police cruiser. The incident occurred in Fairfield County in Westport on I-95 southbound around 3 a.m. Saturday, July 27, on I-95 near Exit 17. According to State Police, a State Police cruiser was stationary, positioned in the left travel lane, with its emergency lights activated when a 2015 Kia Sorrento driven by New York City resident Sonny Abdul-Hardy of the Bronx, failed to move over or stop and slammed into the back of the cruiser. Woman, 59, Hit, Killed Walking Near Cemetery In Norwalk Police in Fairfield County are investigating after a 59-year-old woman was struck and killed while walking near a cemetery.  The incident occurred in Norwalk around 9:20 a.m., Friday, June 21, at 81 Riverside Ave. (Riverside Cemetery). According to Lt. Tomasz Podgorski of the Norwalk Police, officers responded to the area following a 911 call of an accident with injuries in which a pedestrian was struck.
