A Connecticut man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he robbed a local bank and threatened employees while displaying a weapon.
Jeffrey Thibeault, 58, was arrested on Wednesday, June 4, following a months-long investigation into a robbery at M&T Bank on East Street in Plainville, according to police. He is charged with robbery, threatening, and larceny.
Investigators said a man walked into the bank on Feb. 20, pulled a weapon, threatened the teller, and demanded cash, Plainville police said. The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
