The fatal shooting of an Aliquippa High School senior by a federal agent has been ruled justified, Beaver County District Attorney Nate Bible announced during a press conference on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
The 18-year-old Kendric Curtis fired two rounds from a stolen handgun into an unmarked SUV carrying undercover ATF, FBI, and local task force officers on Waugaman Street at the Linmar Terrace apartment complex, DA Bible said. An ATF agent returned fire once, striking Curtis in the head.

A 56-year-old ex-con is facing attempted murder charges after allegedly shooting the mother of his child multiple times inside their Waterbury home, police said.
Officers responded to 210 Berkeley Ave. just before 11 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, for a report of an assault, Waterbury Police Lt. Ryan Bessette said. They found a 44-year-old woman with multiple gunshot wounds, he said.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where she remains in critical but stable condition, Bessette said.
