For one Connecticut player, lightning really did strike twice. A Bridgeport man is celebrating his second big lottery win of the year. Shelley Suttles was picking up a few items at a convenience store on Sept. 30 when he bought an Ultimate 7s scratch ticket, according to the Connecticut Lottery. It's been a great week for Connecticut gamblers as they've raked in millions from Monday, Oct. 25 through Thursday, Oct. 24. More than 2,000 people won a total of $2.5 million on Monday evening's Play4 drawing. A $100,000 winning "200X" scratch-off ticket was sold at Eagle Mart at 2 Spring Street in Stafford Springs. $100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Norwalk
A lucky lotto player managed to match all five numbers on a Cash5 ticket to win a cool $100,000, Lottery officials said the winning ticket was sold in Norwalk for the Friday, June 7 game at the Norwalk Smoke Shop at 68 Main St. The winning numbers were 4-16-18-22-33. The ticket was the 23rd Cash5 jackpot in the state so far this year. No word yet on who the lucky winner is. Cash5 drawings are held nightly at 11 p.m.
