Father Of 2 Killed In I-95 Wrong-Way Crash, Another Hospitalized A 47-year-old Connecticut man was killed this week after a car going the wrong way on I-95 collided with his vehicle, authorities said.  Mark Palumbo Jr., of Madison in New Haven County, was driving his Mustang GT south along I-95 between exits 66-65 in Westbrook when the crash happened around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9, Connecticut State Police said.  A Cadillac ATS driving north in the southbound lane slammed into Palumbo's sports car, killing him, police said. 'Vision Of Excellence': 3 CT Schools Earn Prestigious Blue Ribbon Award A Connecticut high school and two elementary schools have been named some of the nation's most dedicated.  The US Department of Education released its 2024 National Blue Ribbon Schools this week, with 356 earning the prestigious distinction.
