This story has been updated. The name has been released of a teenage boy who was killed in a fatal shooting in Northern Westchester that led to a 12-hour manhunt and the arrest of a suspect. Fernando Jimenez, age 40, shot his girlfriend and her two children with an illegally possessed handgun in the Baldwin Place section of Somers during a domestic dispute at about 11:35 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 28, according to New York State Police. CT Kennel Owner Facing Animal Cruelty Charges
A Connecticut kennel owner turned herself in to police earlier this week after being charged with animal cruelty, authorities said. Litchfield County resident Jennifer Ornelli, age 47, of Bethlehem, was ordered held on a $10,000 bond on Tuesday, Sept. 3, Connecticut State Police said. Ornelli runs the Home Away From Home kennel in Bethlehem. In July, a customer filed a complaint with state authorities that their dog had been mistreated and neglected while in Ornelli's care, police said. A Connecticut man was charged with alleged DUI after he was found asleep behind the wheel of a running Jeep at a car dealership, police said. Westport Resident Accused Of Harassing Neighbor With Strange Acts
A Fairfield County man was charged with allegedly violating protective orders after leaving a Bible with a knife stuck in it by a neighbor's door and then for performing a burning ritual in the backyard. Westport resident Francis Conklin, age 67, was arrested on Thursday, Aug. 8, for the June and July incidents. According to Lt.
