Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment. Authorities pronounced Murray dead at the scene.…

11-Year-Old, Teen Crash Stolen Jeep In CT An 11-year-old and a 16-year-old were charged with stealing a Jeep Compass in Connecticut and then fleeing after being spotted by State Police before crashing into another vehicle head-on. The incident began in Windham County on Tuesday, July 30, around 7 a.m. in Willimantic. According to Connecticut State Police, the Willimantic Police Department contacted them to advise that the stolen 2019 Jeep was last seen heading north on Route 32 in Tolland County near Mansfield. 30-Year-Old Dies In Danbury Crash With Garbage Truck A Connecticut man was killed following a crash with a garbage truck in Fairfield County. New Haven County resident Carlos Davila, age 30, of Ansonia, was killed around 6 a.m., Wednesday, July 3, in the area of 14 Mill Plain Road in Danbury. According to Erin Henry of the Danbury Police, Davila was driving a motorcycle when the crash occurred with a garbage truck. He was transported to Danbury Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Henry said. Henry said the garbage truck driver remained on the scene and is cooperating with police.  Mill Plain Road was closed while the Danbury …
