2 Critically Injured After Being Struck On Sidewalk In Westport Two people are in critical condition after a vehicle veered off the roadway in Fairfield County and hit two pedestrians on a sidewalk. The incident occurred in Westport around 6:45 p.m. on Imperial Avenue near Post Road East. According to Westport Police Deputy Chief David Farrell, police, fire, and EMS were dispatched to the scene following a 911 call. Upon arrival, first responders provided immediate medical attention to the injured pedestrians, who were transported to Norwalk Hospital for further treatment.
