Two people were injured when propane tanks exploded in a box truck, Connecticut State Police said. The incident happened Friday night, Feb. 28, just after 9 p.m. at the Conantville Road and Overlook Drive intersection in Mansfield. One of the injured was air-lifted to a Rhode Island burn ward for second-degree burns while the other was rushed to an area hospital. Their injuries were considered life-threatening, police said.
