Carlee Patterson, of Bristol, was arrested on Tuesday, March 4, and charged with failing to obey a traffic signal and two counts of misconduct with a motor vehicle, police said.

Investigators allege Patterson was behind the wheel of a car that crashed into Fay "Claire" Clarity, 37, and Nicholas Cricco, 34, as they crossed Pine Street in Bristol in the early morning hours of June 24.

Patterson remained at the scene and cooperated with police, authorities said last year.

Clarity, a Southington native, was remembered for her friendliness and compassion, her family said in her obituary. A GoFundMe for Bristol's Cricco said he was a caring friend and loving brother and son.

Patterson was released on a $50,000 bond, authorities said.
