Man Who Allegedly Robbed NY Walmart Charged Under County's Controversial Mask Law
A man who allegedly robbed a Long Island Walmart was also charged with violating Nassau County's controversial new mask law. The suspect was wearing a black ski mask when he entered the store located in East Meadow at 2465 Hempstead Turnpike at around 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 and began concealing merchandise in his bag. An out-of-state man was charged with harassing a New York State trooper during an alleged "street takeover" in the Hudson Valley, which included 30 to 40 ATVs and motorcycles.
