Man Sentenced To 2.5 Years For Sexually Assaulting Physically Helpless Woman In CT College Dorm A Connecticut man convicted of sexually assaulting a physically helpless woman in a Quinnipiac University dorm in 2020 was sentenced to prison earlier this week, authorities said.  Daniel Cervoni, 23, was found guilty in November of sexually assaulting a woman after a night out in New Haven, prosecutors said. A judge sentenced him to 10 years in prison, but it will be suspended after two and a half years, the state prosecutor's office said. College Dorm Sexual Assault: Berlin Man Guilty Of Attack At CT University A Connecticut jury has convicted a 23-year-old man of sexually assaulting a "physically helpless" woman in a college dorm room, authorities announced.  Daniel Cervoni, age 23, of Berlin, was charged with sexual assault and faces between nine months and 10 years following his conviction on Wednesday, Nov. 14, the Connecticut Division of Criminal Justice said.  Investigators said Cervoni and three friends were at Quinnipiac University and after a night out returned to the dorms at the New Haven County school.
