2 West Haven Officers Shot Executing Search Warrant In New Haven; Suspect Killed: Reports
Two West Haven police officers were shot early Wednesday, Jan. 29, while serving warrants in New Haven, reports said. The suspect was killed in a shootout. The officers, whose names and conditions have not been released, were part of a multi-agency task force. They were executing a search warrant at an apartment on Grand Ave. around 5:30 a.m. when gunfire erupted, NBC Connecticut reported. Teen Wanted in Waterbury Parking Lot Slaying Remains On The Run
Police in Connecticut are searching for a 17-year-old girl now wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that ended in a parking lot outside of a popular restaurant in New Haven County earlier this year. Desire Aitken is wanted for multiple serious offenses, including assault in the first degree, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal attempt at murder, Waterbury Police said. Two women said they were wounded by gunfire during an argument that turned violent at a restaurant in Connecticut, authorities said. Police in New Haven responded to NOA by September in Bangkok, at 200 Crown Street, around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 31. Everyone in the bar had run outside before police arrived.
