2 West Haven Officers Shot Executing Search Warrant In New Haven; Suspect Killed: Reports Two West Haven police officers were shot early Wednesday, Jan. 29, while serving warrants in New Haven, reports said. The suspect was killed in a shootout. The officers, whose names and conditions have not been released, were part of a multi-agency task force. They were executing a search warrant at an apartment on Grand Ave. around 5:30 a.m. when gunfire erupted, NBC Connecticut reported. Teen Wanted in Waterbury Parking Lot Slaying Remains On The Run Police in Connecticut are searching for a 17-year-old girl now wanted in connection with a deadly shooting that ended in a parking lot outside of a popular restaurant in New Haven County earlier this year.  Desire Aitken is wanted for multiple serious offenses, including assault in the first degree, carrying a pistol without a permit, and criminal attempt at murder, Waterbury Police said.
