Propane Tanks Explode Inside Box Truck In CT, Injuring 2 Two people were injured when propane tanks exploded in a box truck, Connecticut State Police said.  The incident happened Friday night, Feb. 28, just after 9 p.m. at the Conantville Road and Overlook Drive intersection in Mansfield.  One of the injured was air-lifted to a Rhode Island burn ward for second-degree burns while the other was rushed to an area hospital. Kelvin Miranda, 23, of East Hartford, was arrested last week, four months after a dramatic incident in Mansfield, Connecticut State Police said. A trooper patrolling Routes 195 and 275 around 9:30 p.m. on Sept. 10 heard motorcycles revving their engines and went to investigate. 69-Year-Old CT Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal Crash After Van Hits Tree A 69-year-old Connecticut woman was killed earlier this week when her car went off of a road and crashed into a tree, police said.  Jen Webster, of Storrs, lost control of her Honda Odyssey on Chaffiteeville Road in Mansfield a little after 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, and hit a tree, Connecticut State Police said.
